Mark P. Lande, Managing Director and Counsel
Mark Lande is the Managing Director of Island Capital Group and its in-house counsel. Mr. Lande also serves as the General Counsel of Island Global Yachting - Ltd., where he has primary responsibility for the execution of the company's debt financings.
Prior to joining Island Capital Group, Mr. Lande was an Associate at Allen and Overy LLP, a renowned banking and international capital markets practice based in New York. Over his professional career, he has been involved in hundreds of transactions representing a large array of domestic and internationally based banks, agencies and other clients. His vast experience in this arena includes project financings, term and revolving credit facilities, acquisition financings, cross-border leverage leases (tax and synthetic), export credit agency and multi-lateral bank backed project financings, liquidity facilities for commercial paper programs, SEC registered debt offerings and venture capital investments.
Mr. Lande received a juris doctorate degree from University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from University of Pennsylvania in 1992.
