Island Capital Group and its controlled affiliates have an exemplary record of working with government and community groups. A demonstrated example of this is apparent in the development of Yacht Haven Grande. This project has required close cooperation with the Government of St. Thomas and with the area’s community groups – both of which have provided public accolades for the spirit of partnership with which we work. Similar results have been seen in our other projects, including the establishment of Emirates National Securitization Corporation, the Dubai government’s vehicle for creating a secondary market for real estate financings in Dubai – similar to what Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac do in the United States.
