Marc W. Levy, Senior Managing Director
Marc Levy is a Senior Managing Director of Island Capital Group. Having joined the company at its inception, Mr. Levy is actively involved in the Company’s acquisition and investment banking activities. Mr. Levy also leads the acquisition and investment banking activities of Island Global Yachting Ltd., an affiliate of Island Capital Group.
Prior to joining Island Capital Group, Mr. Levy was a Senior Managing Director of Insignia Financial Services, Inc., the investment banking subsidiary of Insignia Financial Group, Inc. In that role, Mr. Levy’s principal area of concentration was on mergers and acquisitions, real estate finance transactions and principal investment opportunities for Insignia. Mr. Levy previously served as a corporate attorney with the New York City law firm of Rogers & Wells (now Clifford Chance), where he focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and real estate private equity transactions.
Mr. Levy received a juris doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law (Dean's List) in 1996 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Tufts University in 1993.
